relationships;
remember how everyone talked about relationships?!?
they were the end all be all. You stay pure...do your daily devotions...
write down a list of what you want in a mate...then pray through that list...
and then surrender to god's will for you...even if that will is for you to be single.
Yaah...so I not sure if it was my outright rebellion, or just my forgetfulness that kept
me from completing that to-do list...but somewhere along the line I found out the real truth about relationships. I found out that they are work...lots of work. I found out that they have
UPS and downs.I found out that there are moments of ecstasy.. followed by normalcy...long periods of normalcy...Then there is the fighting. I wouldnt call it fighting...because I really dont know how to fight per say...but those disagreements...when one person wants the other person to see through the same lens...and when he or she doesnt the partner re-states his/her position...and when that doesnt work he/she resorts to sheer manipulation...yes even a Christian is capable of manipulation and self-seeking behavior. And then there is the reconciliation. The epiphany that all is well...and that the change we are seeking needs to begin with I, ME...in order for us to become WE/
