UP-CYCLED CHAIR #1

After reading Eddie Ross' blog about fancy finds he gets at flea markets and thrift stores I decided that I will have to frequent the local thrift stores on 4th street for more than just the $5 chair find. Right now I have two rolls of fabric that I majorly dig, so I am constantly on the lookout for wooden chairs with a fabric seat that I can paint and re-finish. However, so often in my search for the perfect piece o' crap chair, there is a pot of gold. Maybe it is milkware, or a pair of rad sconces. I am going to make sure to keep my eye open for the stuff that Eddie finds...hopefully my eye is 1/8 of as good as his. Here is the chair that I painted antique white, distressed with sandpaper and re-upholstered the seat. Oh, need I forget, I printed out an illustration that
can be found in my Etsy Shop: http://www.paisleyann.etsy.com. I then strung beads on DMC floss and place the beads in a circle around the decoupaged illustration. I stabilized the beads with Krazy Glue.
