On Saturday I sat in La Bussola during the downtown Wine Walk. I was there to do illustrations, but instead I sat and brainstormed with Pamela as to how we were going to get an Etsy team together for Reno. I know, it sounds rather boring. We actually talked about our husbands, kids, life, dieting and all sorts of other things. It was a perfect break for Pamela--who I can't thank enough for coming down and taking some pictures. She, by the way, is working on her craft all of the time. So she is very busy and has very little time to dilly dally. But we also talked about balance and how easy it is to get carried away with work. To be honest, I tend to have the opposite problem. But I gave it my best shop in empathizing with Pamela as she explained her plight--frantically working all of the time. I am very happy to see my friend's work doing so well at La Bussola because she is so deserving. Her purses are crazy cute, but what most impresses me is the quality of her work. She pays attention to every detail.
